General Swimming
General public swimming sessions are held throughout the week.
These are great for individuals who prefer an unstructured swim session. They are also perfect for family swimming sessions, a fun and enjoyable way to stay active whilst fostering bonds and promoting a sense of unity.
Swimming is an inclusive exercise promoting cardiovascular health, muscle strength, and flexibility.
All ages are welcome at our general swimming sessions.
Family swimming offers a unique blend of physical, mental, and social benefits. It instils water safety skills, ensuring a vital life skill and swimming together fosters bonding and creates lasting memories.
We also welcome those less able to general swimming sessions. A chair hoist or easy access steps are available to assist entry the pool.
Swimming promotes mental well-being, stress relief, and overall physical fitness in a refreshing aquatic environment.
General Swimming times vary due to lane swimming, classes and clubs so please check the timetable for details.
